Professional Website Design Company in Chelmsford

Posted on May 24th, 2013

Chelmsford based landscape design company Transscape’s strapline is ‘Transform Your Landscape’ and here at Premier Design professional website design Chelmsford, we transformed their website!

We’ve been onboard with the great team at Transscape from early beginnings and were first asked to develop a logo and identity for the company that really emphasised transformation. We have built up the brand recognition through various projects and media from van signage to mailing campaigns.

Since launching their brand new look website design in March this year, business has bloomed! Below is a before and after shot of the simple one page web design they created to start with and the new Premier Design professional website design which includes monthly gardening tips from the Transscape team, twitter feed, portfolio of work that the client can update themselves and testimonials displaying on a rotational system.

Take a look at the before and after pics below of the website, and visit the full case study example here:

Positive feedback for Andy’s Speech:

(Posted on 24th May 2013)Subject: Getting Started in the Creative Industries

Dear Andy, Sloan, Ant and Olivia

Just a very brief but very big ‘thank you’ for your time last evening at the Entrepreneurship Support Programme – Getting Started in the Creative Industries.  Over 50 students attended and I don’t need to tell you how much you were appreciated – everyone was queuing up to speak to you afterwards, hanging on to your every word!  You brought your personal stories to life and enthused and inspired everyone.  I sincerely hope that you enjoyed the evening as much as we all did and perhaps we might be able to call on your generosity again in the future.

Many thanks once again.

Kindest regards

Bespoke Business Cards – Stand Out From the Crowd!

Posted on February 20th, 2013

(Posted 20th February 2013) We just had to blog about these stunning, bespoke business cards we’ve just designed and produced for our clients APC Solutions (UK) Limited, the leading provider of wireless communications, network infrastructure and mobility solutions.

QR Code Creation

Our client wanted to add general information to the cards, as well as personalised QR codes and create a WOW factor. (Quick Response Codes or QR Codes are a form of ‘barcode’ that can be read by smartphone users who have installed a free ‘scanner app’ on their phone. The scanner translates the code – usually to a company web address or specific web page related to the product or service being advertised.) Premier Design can generate QR codes to your specific requirements including contact details and web addresses.

Unusual Shaped Business Cards

If you regularly attend networking and business events you’ll know that you leave with a handful of business cards – most of which are probably white, rectangle shaped, one sided with contact details and company logo. If you want to stand out from the pack, be remembered, and make more of this ‘advertising space’, what better way than a bespoke, eye-catching business card that says a bit more about your company and services and leaves a distinct impression.

We have a range of unusual shaped business card templates you can choose from, or we can create completely bespoke designs to compliment your company identity or highlight a specific service.

Business Card Effects – Print Finishing

As experts in design for print, we also have extensive knowledge and experience with all sorts of print finishes, papers and board that will also give your business cards an edge over the competition. Have you thought about foil blocking, and did you know that foils not only come in a huge range of colours (not just gold or silver) but in patterns and effects too? Or how about gloss varnish to pick out part of your logo or an image, also available with textures to give your cards a tactile finish? or textured ‘laid’ board or the addictively touchable ‘plike’ papers? embossing, debossing, die cutting, thermography… the possibilities are endless.

Your business cards or any printed literature need not be standard – make an impact, get noticed and be remembered.

The Importance of Customer Service

Posted on February 20th, 2013

(Posted on 20th February 2013) Good customer service is a vital part of any business. You can entice new business your way with all sorts of promotions, offers and price cuts, but unless you send them away happy and get some of those customers coming back, or spreading good words about you, your business will not profit for long!

Promotions and good sales people will be able to sell anything to anyone, but your company’s approach to customer service will determine whether or not you’ll ever be able to sell that person anything else. Positive relationships need to be formed between ALL customers – every one of them could pass on good (or bad) reviews to other potential clients.

Here at Premier Design, we pride ourselves on our reputation for good customer service. We are always striving to be consistent in the following areas:

• Helpful, knowledgable and friendly
• A real person answering the phone
• Listen thoroughly to client needs
• Offer free advice, suggestions and expertise
• Acknowledge receipt of orders, emails, messages
• Deal with any issues immediately
• Keep clients up to date
• Stick to deadlines
• Inform clients of delivery dates
and of course exceed expectations with the design work we produce and the results it gains!

We’d like to share some more client comments we have recently received.

“Many thanks for the paper and business cards which arrived today. As always the quality and service is 1st class. I will certainly pass your name on to anyone else who needs printing done.”
